    Pros +

    • The staff were excellent and very supportive. If you enjoy art deco furniture you will sample some of the 1930/40s era with many interesting furnishings. The location was excellent for our purpose being close to the excellent Lalgarh Palace museum
    • Breakfast was standard and could be better. Ethnic breakfast is priced less than american/ eggs for example, as toast is priced separately; the gardens are huge and would make all the difference if maintained and it is not and was desolate so I checked out.
    • They upgraded us to a large room. It was really large. It is a beautiful facility. Lot of history. The staff was very helpful. We stayed just one night.

    Cons -

    • Maintenance and upkeep is low, budgets have to be allocated for it, and no sign of life in there- needs music, and occupancy to grow, else shut it down in low occupancy season; not worth value for money.
    • The shower tub did not drain well. Water was accumulating in the tub.
    • All was great

Customer friendly staff and service. Warm welcome and reception at time of check in. Fabulous cuisine and an art deco style hotel with only 12 rooms. A great value for your money. The property doesn’t charge your cc at time of check in, but only at checkout. All other properties which I stayed at in Rajasthan wanted their money upfront.

    All was great

very spacious rooms and very good service , excellent staff

Nothing specific. Buffet breakfast, if available, would have been better

I stayed two nights.I was fortunate to receive room number three, one floor up from ground level, an enormous room with many art deco elements. Had large fridge. A/c did not seem adjustable, but room temp was perfect. The bathroom was also very large, plenty of towels and abundant hot water. And very quiet, the most important attribute for me.Equally impressive was the willingness of the staff to go the extra mile to help me deal with a problem. I had lost my wallet so had no plastic card to charge the bill. Working with booking.com, the were able charge against the card info I supplied online to guarantee the reservation. Many thanks to the office staff.

The bed was comfortable, but short. I'm not tall, but my feet were hitting bed frame.

    9ChoudharyPosted on: 9-15-2023

The room was way beyond what they were charging for it. It was as if we are some royalty being served.

Coordination with reception. While the person was helpful, he was new, so needed instructions from his superiors.

The hospitality by Raghuveer Singh Shekhawat ji, Kripal ji and team was amazing, so was the location.

The rooms and facilities should be upgraded.

    6SouravPosted on: 3-20-2023

Good locations, Rooms are big & Good, beds are good, Good support staff. It's a pleasant stay

very Old infra, needs some maintenance.

    8AkPosted on: 12-9-2022

A nice property that provides a glimpse of Royal luxury. The staff is cordial and willing to go extra mile for guests' comfort.

Cleanliness is an issue, but staff was very prompt in cleaning.

The Saff tried to do thier best to make me feel at home. But the 'Palace' needs major maintenance. overhaul and upkeep. Mr. Shekhavat, the Manaher of the property is a kind and very helpful person. He even gave me a ride to airport when the taxi failed to arrive in time. Thank you Shri Shekhavat ji

As I said the Palace seems to be falling apart. Plumbing and electric fixtures needs to be replaced. They are corroding and in dire need of some serious upgrade.

T’he property is a former residence of one of the Bikaner maharani and from the point of view of the architecture, is a very interesting Deco building. The suites are very huge and the furniture is very nice, also in the Deco style.

T’he building is very poor maintained, it needs a huge renovation. I booked a suite but when I reached the property they pretended to give me a lower category room, when I complained they show me another room, but was again a lower category, finally I showed them the Booking room picture, and only then they gave me the room booked.

Well only the location of the property is good

It wasn’t like a hotel. Felt like a home stay, over priced for the facilities offered. Staff is too intrusive doesn’t allow visitors or guests in rooms in day time. Feels like some moral policing by the staff and owner. Upkeep of the property is really bad.

    5AmanPosted on: 7-26-2022

I like the property but it is little bit congested in dining area.

Dinning is too much expensive unnecessarily. 1200 for 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and 2 scoops of butterscotch ice cream.

    7JuhiPosted on: 3-18-2022

The rooms were very spacious. The hot water was available at all times. The food though basic was tasty. The property is away from the hustle bustle of the city which suited us as we were passing through.

The exterior of the hotel and the lawns can be made to look better. Not as great as it looks in pictures

    8UttamPosted on: 2-16-2022

A heritage palatial hotel with few rooms. Beautifully decorated with paintings of British era

There are huge lawns. But not as well maintainted.

    10RupalPosted on: 1-2-2022

A beautiful property with spacious rooms, courteous staff and excellent food. Loved the hospitality. The property is surrounded by small gardens where one can walk and occasionally spot a peacock or two. The room had a heater, so very comfortable during the winter. Bathrooms had clean bath tubs and toiletries. Highly recommended

    9GungunPosted on: 12-26-2021

Beautiful heritage property. The room was well appointed with separate dressing room and bathroom with bathtub. They also provided a room heater, electric kettle, fridge and a thermoflask. the bed was quite comfortable and very big. The adjacent huge garden was beautiful with peacock roaming around (if you are lucky like us!) The neighborhood is quiet and nice. Food was very tasty though limited . Breakfast was not included in the roomrate.

    5VinodPosted on: 11-22-2021

Though food quality was better. Hotel was quietly located outside the city. Room and lobby décor was good

It was not as clean as I expected a Royal property to be, the bed linen also has several pin holes and looks purchased when the hotel was built.

Great property courteous staffSagar ji a worker at the property is an amazing singer and will make your day.
